GETTING STARTED:

Use the supplied power cable to connect the PA system to a power source using the “DC IN” port on the back of the PA. If you would like to use the PA wirelessly (using it’s battery), simply skip the previous step. Turn the PA on using the “ON/OFF” switch on the back.

TO USE THE IPOD DOCK:

On the back of the PA, make sure that the volume knob labeled “IPOD” is turned all the way down. Insert your ipod into the dock on top of the PA (it should face the rear controls) and begin playback, making sure your ipod volume is set at about 75%. Slowly turn up the “IPOD” volume knob on the back of the PA until you’ve reached the desired audio level.

TO USE THE WIRELESS MICROPHONE:

On the back of the PA, make sure that the volume knob labeled “WIRELESS” is turned all the way down. Unscrew the base of the included microphone and make sure the power switch inside is set to the “ON” position. (Remember to switch it off when you are done!). Make sure the secondary switch at the very bottom of the microphone is also set to the “ON” position. While speaking into the microphone, slowly turn the “WIRELESS” volume knob up until you’ve reached the desired volume level.

TO USE AN EXTERNAL DEVICE (MP3 PLAYER OR LAPTOP):

On the back of the PA, make sure that the volume knob labeled “CHANNEL 1” is all the way down. Grab the supplied connector cable and connect one end to the input labeled “MIC/INST” (just to the right of the “CHANNEL 1” volume knob), and connect the other end to the headphone output in your mp3 player or computer. Begin playback on your device, making sure the device’s volume is set at abut 75%. While it’s playing, slowly turn up the “CHANNEL 1” volume knob until you’ve reached the desired volume level.

When you are done using this PA system, simply flip the power switch off and THEN disconnect everything.
