Before Set-Up Crew Arrives

WHAT TO DO BEFORE THE SET-UP CREW ARRIVES

We need to know the surface on which the tent will be set up. If it is a grass surface, you need to make sure the grass is cut 48 hours prior to delivery. If it is a blacktop surface, can we put stakes in the blacktop? If we can put stakes in the blacktop, do we have to patch the blacktop? Our drivers will only set up items that were prearranged on the rental contract, so please make sure all those arrangements are made prior to delivery.

CUSTOMER’S RESPONSIBILITIES AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY

There must be someone at the tent site that knows where the tent is going, as well as all other items that are being delivered. Can the delivery trucks drive up to the tent site? If they cannot, how far away do they need to park? There will be additional delivery charges depending on how far away they have to park from the tent site. Drivers must be allowed to get in and out of the tent site freely without having to move cars, etc. The customer will have all underground obstacles marked and make sure the tent site is clear and ready for set up. If order is C.O.D. payment will need to be made before delivery of tent. It is necessary to allow use of restrooms for the tent crew.

CUSTOMER’S RESPONSIBILITIES AT THE TIME OF PICK UP

The customer must have all tables and chairs stacked neatly in piles same as they were dropped off prior to pick up. All the dishes must be scraped, rinsed, and put back in the proper racks or boxes. All linens must be put in the bags they came in. Linens must not be left lying out. All decorations or items belonging to the customer must be out of the tent prior to our scheduled pick up. The customer is responsible for having all items back under the tent upon pick up. If all items are not there, the drivers will not spend time searching for them. This will result in the customer being responsible for getting all items not found back to the store or pay additional pick up charges.

SPECIAL NOTE:

Please do not use an insecticide on the tent vinyl. Since the material is petroleum based, and tiki torch fuel burned near, or insecticide sprayed on the tent will cause permanent damage. You could be held responsible for these damages. Thank You.
